From Healthcare Operations to Systems and Product Work

My path into software started in operational systems, where constraints, coordination, and reliability were part of the job.

Why the transition makes sense

Healthcare IT and product engineering can look different on a resume. In practice, both involve turning messy needs into workable systems that other people can rely on.

The tools changed, but the core habits stayed useful: clarify the workflow, reduce avoidable ambiguity, and build for the environment the system will actually live in.

What I want to keep

I want to keep the operational discipline from that background as I move further into full-stack, AI workflow, and systems work.

It is one reason I am drawn to health-tech, internal tools, consulting-style delivery, and AI products where process control matters.

Based in Auckland and open to early-career full-stack, IT systems, health-tech, AI workflow, and data/analytics roles. I am most effective in roles where delivery requires both implementation detail and operational context.
